He’s now at South LA Animal Shelter and is listed urgent because he’s scared. He’s only been there one week and he is next to be put on the euthanasia list. Poppy has lost everything—his owner, his home, and the only life he knew. He’s in the back of the shelter, where it’s loud and scary. In the video, you can see he’s not aggressive—he’s just confused and frightened, but gentle enough to take a treat from someone’s hand.
