I think we initially “want to climb the corporate ladder” because we grew up too fast. Having to manage everyone else at home, so it comes naturally at work. But then we become mothers and realize at some point, we were abandoned, and so then the focus becomes, becoming the mother we never had.… just my own personal take ❤️

THIS. I’m a physician and while I of course am still 100% committed to my patients, having my son has made me realize that at the end of the day it’s still just a job and my family and baby are way more important to me. It’s actually chilled me out a lot at work because things that really used to seem like a big deal don’t even phase me anymore lol
