I really wanted a Fuji X100VI but prices are insane, I bought a Nikon ZFC instead, along with a Z 24mm f/1.7 and I love it so much. Wish I could have the same film simulations of the ZF, unfortunately all you have are some presets you can install directly in the camera, it isn’t the same but it gets the job done and the design is beautiful

But isn’t the biggest difference the fact that the X100VI comes with a very bright f2 lens and it’s also an APS-C where as the other camera’s sensors are at least M43 and smaller so low light performance is going to take a dive there. I think for what they are the only semi comparable cameras to the X100VI would be the Ricoh GRs

The pen f is cool but I don't know where you get it for half the price of an x100vi. everywhere I look it costs almost as much as an x100vi

Before anyone buys any of these alternative cameras, I would suggest to look at their USB connection and apps that they have for you to download the pics. if they can’t do fast wi-fi or Bluetooth transfer in this day and age and requires a USB (-C hopefully?) it’s an inconvenience in my books! (Ask me how I know, I got a Fuji XA7 lol)

Ok maybe you can help me lol. Currently have X100VI for more ‘serious/nicer shots of family, every day life and the odd travel. Also have a G7X III for fun ‘pre event selfies’ and misc stuff that’s more fun. Used to have the XT5 with a 23 2.8 pancake, 16-50 kit lens and I miss the ergonomics and feel of it but the lenses I had didn’t have the character of the X100VI and my issue was I tried to keep it ‘portable’ with the pancake. Do you think I sell my G7XIII for the G5XII (considering viewfinder) and keep it the fun camera and then rebuy the XT5 with one nice lens for more serious stuff? Hopefully you get me lol! Thanks again and love your work!
