I mean I'd hate big boss too if I were him, he was betrayed, plus big boss kinda became an evil person. the only good big boss was venom snake but even then venom eventually sided and helped big boss.

To be fair both Kaz and Big Boss used each other and betrayed each other. Kaz by literally communicating and having a relationship with the enemy as in the CIA and Cipher/Zero to grow MSF and the Big Boss understanding he could not trust him but he could use him to run DD/OH into what it would become in MG1 and MG2 while having Venom amd Ocelot be the ones who truly carry the flame. * What sucks is that it was all doomed to fail regardless. And that this sysyphean task of BB along with kaz or ocelot to live up to the Boss' Will was utterly impossible because they missed a fundamental part of what she fought for and believed in. So it ultimately turned into a Sopranos style trainwreck that would eventually lead to venom snake, to Kaz training one the sons of the boss and Ocelot training the other. That even though they all searched for peace trough war amd vengance and the establishment of it, they all contributed to the dystopian world we end up with by MGS4 where the war economy Kaz dreamed of making is created, and where pragmatic peace as Ocelot envisioned is possible trough endless conflict zones, and where algorithms decide when and where and why anything especially a conflict fought between mercenaries would happen like Zero's vision of peace trough absolute control. All because of a woman they (Zero and Big Boss) they loved dearly but never understood deeply. All because the road to hell is paved with the best of intentions. All because war brings out the worst of us.

He’s right to hate Big Boss. He fully became the monster he was always going to be at the end of MGSV. They were both bad people, but Big Boss absolutely did not give a single fuck about ANYONE at that point.

honestly even if you dont care for kaz much or think he's too traumatized or bull headed, even if you consider the fact kaz had already betrayed the boss once before (working for/ being found in comms. w/ Cypher) its still heartbreaking finding out how kaz handles ocelot telling him the truth but what fucks me up is I do actually like kaz as a character and find admirable traits in him and in the audio tape where ocelot tells Miller "the truth" millers first question is "why? if the boss has some bigger plan than why not tell us?" you can tell kaz does feel betrayed but also just dosent understand the thinking behind the boss's plan going as far as to tell ocelot outright he knows what side hes on but how quickly he becomes mad af the concept of having to work against the boss now, you can tell it makes him sick to his stomach but kaz is the type to stand on 5 or 10 toes on anything so I just genuinely feel bad that his cannon ending is just retiring in mediocrity until ocelot gets the jump on him, seems too easy and written off to me but thats just my two cents lol :P

I wish we got more about what happens after. We do know that despite Kaz hating bb, he does eventually work with him again in foxhound. Like, how was their dynamic like after? I only guess he joined him cause it was the one chance to get close to solid snake, who he wanted to use to train and fight both venom and bb
