Arman K. Hastings, was recklessly following them. During the incident, Hastings entered oncoming lanes of traffic, intentionally cut off the victim’s vehicle, and at one point drove in reverse for over a mile, the couple said. The victim told officers Hastings repeatedly reached toward his coat, making them think he could be armed. The couple drove directly to the Beaverton Police Department where officers quickly located Hastings and took him into custody without incident. During the arrest, officers found a black airsoft handgun in Hastings’ jacket pocket. Hastings was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail on charges of reckless driving and menacing.
