Hey So the duct going from the unit to the window actually radiates a lot more heat than you would think, a basic window unit will be more efficient.

I couldn't figure out draining the water. The instructions say not to attach the drain tube in cooling mode. I was having water on the floor all the time. So there are two drain ports. One higher and one at floor level. I attached the drain hose to the high up port and it's in a bucket because it's upstairs where there are no drains. I empty a 2.5 gallon bucket of water at least twice a day. It works great and keeps my bedroom nice and cool .
