such an unpopular opinion but I’m so sick of jiaras acting like kie was the only one who fully loved jj and was the closest to him, yes kie loved jj and was close to him but i think it’s made abundantly clear that jj and john b are the closest out of all pouges, they grew up together, john b was jjs safe space and where did he go when he was hurt because of his dad? He went to john b, because john b gets it like nobody else would. That’s not to say john b loved him more, but more so that people need to stop making all of jjs others relationships insignificant compared to kie. Pope went to jail for jj and risked his scholarship for him, he’s the only one out of ALL the pouges besides Cleo to never use jjs dad against him in a agurement, i love kie and im not bashing her in anyway however you have to remember canonically she stopped being John bs, jj, and popes friend when she went to kook academy, that was one of the hardest times of jjs life because big john took care of him and let him stay with him and John b when he was too anxious to go home, they all lost John bs dad TOGETHER (pope, jj, john b) and had to have grown closer because of that. I think a lot of the time jj gets boiled down to just being “the love of kies life” (same with kie) but his character deserves more then to be reduced to his relationship. He was John bs brother, he was popes best friend, he was Cleo and Sarah’s friend, kie isn’t the only one who lost him, they ALL did. That’s not to say kies feelings aren’t valid, but everybody grevies differently and I think it’s unfair to judge John b and pope for doing it differently.
