@gloriaelendu_: The five wise virgins in Jesus’ parable carried extra oil. Not because they doubted the bridegroom would come, but because they trusted His promise without presuming His timing. Faith doesn’t mean sitting still. Faith means continuing to gather oil while you wait. Pray. Prepare. Learn. Work. Grow. Trust God completely, but don’t confuse trusting Him with abandoning your responsibility. Sometimes God answers our prayers through the very opportunities we prepared ourselves to receive. Faith isn’t the absence of preparation. Faithfulness often looks like preparation. #ChristianLiving #FaithInAction #TrustGod #BibleTeaching #GloriaElendu

Using the Parable of the Ten Virgins to justify this argument is to me like saying you need to have a "Plan B". I think such would misapply its spiritual lesson. The Oil is Not a Backup Plan: The wise virgins did not bring oil for a different bridegroom or an alternative wedding party (a Plan B). They brought extra supply for the same assignment (Plan A). The extra oil represents spiritual capacity, endurance, watchfulness, and consistency in believing, not a hedge against failure. The foolish virgins failed not because they lacked an alternative plan, but because they lacked the depth, endurance, and preparation required to sustain their original commitment until the Bridegroom arrived. God’s Assignment Does Not Require a Safety Net. When God commands a specific course of action, relying on a "Plan B" undermines the nature of faith because God Cannot Fail. If a believer truly hears from God regarding a business, ministry, or life direction, that mandate carries divine backing. God's directive is singular. Its like Perming Three from Five Mindset Treating faith like a portfolio of options, hoping that if Option A fails, Option B or C will succeed, reduces divine guidance to human gambling. It signals a lack of conviction in the original directive. If a venture undertaken in God’s name collapses entirely, the biblical inquiry is not "Why didn't you have a backup plan?"but rather "Did you truly hear God's voice, or did you move on your own initiative?" Holding on to Plan A does not mean the path will be smooth. Faith means staying focused through trials rather than pivoting to an exit. I don't if I misunderstood you.

MY UNDERSTANDING WITH THIS, BUILDING YOURSELF IN THE PROCESS OF WAITING. LIKE TAKING JOB OPPORTUNITIES WITH STH OR IN A FIELD THAT DOES NOT REALLY INTEREST YOU JUST TO BUILD YOURSELF FOR RIGHT JOB YOU'RE WAITING. IM BEEN THROUGH THIS PROCESS AND IM GRATEFUL TO GOD.

Gloria … respectfully.. I think you are contradicting yourself. It’s either god will do it or he won’t . There is no middle ground. And those that have faith 💯 are called foolish … really? God is supposed to be the epitome of “trust me “ … and that’s why many people believe in him. Sadly many people realize plan B was the only option a little late … I love your content btw … 🙏🏾

I don't think that parable works for that question, cause for one the brides didn't ask the groom for anything, they KNEW he was coming, they just didn't know when.
