I’m dealing with this now - not sure how to adjust - my adult daughter accepting and willing supporting and associating with them - like I’m the one who needs to get over it. Definitely affecting the way I feel towards her, if she doesn’t care how it hurts me how to I move forward 🤷♀️

This is why I don't have a circle. I dissappeared for a couple years and did the healing on my own. I couldn't watch it. I'm good now, but it was a hard road.

Why does this hit home and why are people like this!? I don’t talk to my own sister because she would rather be friends with my ex and ex best friend who cheated than stand behind me and say that’s wrong. She says it’s none of her business. So now my life is none of her business. It honestly is so disgusting.

Damn that's tough. rejected by your ex and your family and everyone likes him more, including himself. Problem is they don't see him like you see him, but on the flip side they see you and I guess they assume he's better? That's tough.

I am the one who introduced my ex to a few friends I had known and been friends with for many years. He stole from me and abused me in the worst ways. Some of those friends are still friends with him. I no longer care for those people I thought were my friends before

So true. I have told my adult children if they cheat on a spouse, I will NOT be entertaining their new partner the next week — as I watched my former in-laws do. And yep — can’t outrun a character flaw — just watched some karma catch up.
