My sons did the same thing. Took it back to where it was bought. Taylormade ended up upgrading to the QI40d exchanging it. This is a common occurrence and Taylomade is aware of it. Have them call Taylormade.

My TaylorMade drivers break every 2 years. 155 ball speed btw. on my 4th driver now. Only ever paid for the first.

It’s the carbon. Leave your head cover on between shots and NEVER leave it in your car. The glue that holds the layers of carbon fiber together HATES direct sunlight and extreme heat. Causes the glue to melt which is called delaminating. Get in touch with taylormade they will replace it.

Scotty’s Got Game 63 :
I’ve seen that after guys slam them down on the ground several times after shots they don’t like during rounds. It takes awhile but they put micro-cracks in the head and sometimes the shafts. It always breaks during a shot and the player acts like it was random but they typically caused it over time of abuse. Most companies won’t warranty these anymore because they know this cause.

I had the EXACT same break on the Qi-35 last week. Currently waiting for warranty replacement from TaylorMade. Had the Stealth before the Qi-35 and it gave me 0 issues

I busted three Taylor Mades 540’s back in the day all in one year. When TM sent me the fourth. I traded it for a Titleist 20+ years later still playing Titleist never have I broken one.
