Use a Hakka on your opposite boob while breastfeeding- worked like a charm for us !!

Oats, oats and oats helped me with really building my supply. Lots of water too. I know that’s like a typical response but helped me a lot. :)

With my first, I used a Hakka on the opposite boob to build my stash. With this one, I use a hand pump in the morning after the first feed which I was able to build a small stash from

Girl I saw on a podcast a really good thing with a toddler and a newborn is to tell the baby “sorry baby, you have to wait” even if they’re swaddled and sleeping if your toddler wants a snack you say sorry baby Gigi needs a snack right now so you just have to wait! It helps the toddler adapt to the fact that they’re not the only one being told to “wait” and have to ration your time. Thought this was really cool!

I pumped in the morning BEFORE he fed! Got 2oz and then popped him on. From what I understand, they are much more effective at getting the milk than the pump is. You will get your milk, and they WILL get theirs 🤏🏼

I feel like getting a stash takes a lot of extra calories. In my day, there was recipes floating around for these homemade “breastfeeding bars”, that included lots of oats, other grains and some sweeteners. But I was way too tired to try to be honest. We did a lot of supplementing with our second and I don’t regret it as I needed the help. One piece of advice I can offer (especially for the nights), is just give yourself all the grace and remind yourself nightly that this too shall pass and the days of “regular sleep” do eventually come back. But it is SO hard, so I hear you 💛

Only 2 weeks old twins and I’m losing it with my toddler sometimes. I feel so guilty at times but sleep deprivation and just always being on pumping schedule etc makes me so anxious 😏

PP sleep loss was my biggest enemy, none of my kids slept and I felt like I was just walking in a fog! The first year for all of them is such a blur. 🤞🏼baby girl starts sleeping longer stretches

The long days are so real early baby days. 😭♥️Hugs mama. You’re doing great, rest is very helpful for losing weight which is weird lol.

I’m almost 6 months pp with my second and struggling with my weight as well, but I know I don’t lose the weight while breastfeeding. This time I’m heavier than the first which I’m trying to get over mentally because I know I’m providing for my baby and that this temporary but that doesn’t make it any less hard. Thinking of you! You’re not alone 🩷

ever since I stopped pumping regularly, the best way I can get extra bottle if I need it is if I hand pump on one boob while nursing on the other!
