I agree with many of his views, except for this one. You don’t know what someone’s life situation is like—whether it’s a 14-year-old girl who’s become pregnant or a single woman who has no job or anything else. A child is a responsibility and a choice; before having a child, we plan for it or discuss it with our partner. But there’s also the other side—unplanned pregnancies—and that proves that abortions are necessary. Because if it’s an unplanned pregnancy—the man has left you and you have nothing—how reasonable is it to give birth to a child and force them to live in terrible conditions? They didn’t ask for this. It’s like getting a kitten and starving it to death. It’s irresponsible and unfair to the child. Why are women required to take responsibility for children, but men aren’t held responsible for the woman they impregnated? If we ban abortions, it’s the same as banning men from cheating, leaving their families, and not working.
