The cables are the choices you make in politics. This means you can't satisfy anyone. And this means you will have to make necessary choices that will disappoint many and that many will not understand. Think about what I said before you judge a country's choices. You have to look a few steps further. The fact that Morocco still stands as a stable country surrounded by hyena's, tells you how smart and capable the leadership is. It's not easy to lead a country. And as a leader you will have to absorb alot of hate and criticism from people who do not understand.

Avant l'Islam, le territoire de Ceuta était habité par les populations locales amazighes (berbères), tout en abritant des comptoirs phéniciens, carthaginois et romains sous le nom de Septem. À partir du VIIIᵉ siècle, la ville s'intègre pleinement dans l'histoire de l'Afrique du Nord et passe sous l'autorité des grandes dynasties du Maroc — notamment les Idrissides, les Almoravides, les Almohades et les Mérinides. Elle devient alors un carrefour stratégique et commercial majeur reliant le Maghreb à l'Andalousie. La fin de la Reconquista en 1492 et la chute de l'Andalousie entraînent l'expulsion et l'immigration massive des musulmans et des juifs andalous vers le Maroc. Dans ce contexte d’expansion maritime et militaire ibérique, le Portugal s'empare de Ceuta dès 1415. La ville passe ensuite sous contrôle espagnol en 1580 (officialisé en 1668), marquant le début de la présence espagnole qui se poursuit jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Ceuta is Moroccan 🇲🇦 🇲🇦 🇲🇦
