@memeulouso: I hear stories & myths about Crocodilians from around the world & many of them are exaggerated stories based on some truth. On TV & Social Media Crocodilians are filmed at their peak performance up close to grab attention. This sometimes causes people to conclude things about them that are physically impossible. Crocodilians (this includes Alligators) are not built for speed on land. They have very short legs that kind of stick out on the sides. This build makes it hard to move hundreds of lbs off the ground & a tail dragging behind them. They also have short bursts to move at their top speed. This also means that the “run zig zag” from an Alligator myth is just that…. A myth told to you by someone who doesn’t like you 🤷🏻♂️
