I like to imagine that aliens are naturally sadistic and each individual likes to work out their strategy; some are more treacherous and enjoy killing bean after bean, planting the seed of distrust among the crewmates and setting the circus on fire, while others simply don't care and create a bloodbath (hide and seek mode).
