@audreygracefreeman: I don’t go out “looking for animals”. They ALWAYS seem to find me. 💔 I stepped outside today and two dogs came running out of the woods straight to me. I didn’t shoot them. I didn’t chase them away. I didn’t treat them like they were a nuisance. Instead of doing those things.. I gave them the food and water they desperately needed. One is limping badly and can barely use a back leg. The other has a piece of metal stuck through its tongue. Covered in ticks. They didn’t need someone to make their day worse. They needed someone to show them a little kindness. If these are your dogs, please contact me immediately. If no owner comes forward, I’ll need help getting them the veterinary care they deserve. If an owner comes forward and needs help I will try my best to get them the help they need! Sometimes compassion is as simple as choosing to help instead of turning away.
