I had a waffle topped with a maple flavor finishing sugar at a restaurant. It was horrible, not for the flavor, but for the heightened sweetness. I like the idea of sweet flavor pairing and the magnitude of combinations for the palette. But It will take a lot for McCormick to push this. But hey we now have GLP-1 drugs.
