Thank you for sharing your experience! To help with some clarification, mandelic acid is actually quite different from a chemical peel, as it is a gentle daily exfoliant. Its larger molecular size (than glycolic acid, for example) means that it absorbs into the skin slowly and is safe for sensitive and darker skin tones. Think of it more like consistent, low-level exfoliation rather than a one-time resurfacing treatment ☺️
