without fail they say "Kris is the protagonist and the gender of the protagonist is up to the player's interpretation" as if main characters with set genders dont exist 😭 like sure lets just completely ignore the most popular main characters like Mario, Link, Samus, Kratos, Lara, Sonic, Master Chief, and Steve and their canon genders since its clearly up to each player's individual interpretation

Toby literally corrected some folks in a stream, and Kris wears both masculine and feminine clothing/costumes in certain encounters. But the one bit I fixate on is when they go to Man Country to get the Chapter 3 egg. It's called Man Country bc that's where you find The Man, but there's also a sign that says "non-men are OK too". Kris goes there alone. Why TF would that sign be there if Kris wasn't a non-man
