This is a lie we tell ourselves to move on. Most people aren’t simply in a state of limerence. We just do love that person. We see th flaws but we understand and work with them. That’s not limerence. That’s love. We lie to ourselves and say we were only in love with who we thought someone was but it’s not true. You can’t ignore who someone truly is, and you can’t project your own feelings onto a persons actions. Truth is, she or he was exactly who you thought they were, because you experienced them, but like humans do, that person changed. You dont have limerence. They usually just change.
