Under 1% of reported rape gets convicted. UNDER 1%. I think a lot of men say he’s innocent because as soon as they acknowledge rape isn’t just a strange man at night attacking a women down a dark street, that it can be coercion, when the person isn’t sober, when the person says no mid way through after consenting at the start etc…they have to acknowledge they have done that as well.

the same men defending him and shaming the girl who took him to court (bare in mind you must have a lot of evidence to take a SA case to court AND he was found guilty on 2 counts of assault) are the SAME men who would have a big issue if a man like him ended up with their mothers, daughters and sisters.
