@languagecadet: I’ve heard a lot of French people say Haitians pronounce the French “R” like a “W.” But that’s actually not true. Whether we’re speaking French with a Haitian accent or Haitian Creole, we still pronounce the R as an R—just not the same way it’s pronounced in France. There’s a difference, and it’s actually pretty interesting. 🇭🇹🗣️
