@chevytuff21: While we were at the shelter picking up our tiny new bottle baby today, I couldn’t help but take a peek around to see if there were any kittens close enough in age to be a playmate for Uno. Kittens learn so much from growing up with siblings. They teach each other bite inhibition, boundaries, social skills, and how to play appropriately. We don’t want Uno missing out on those important lessons… because nobody wants to end up with a Kittenzilla. 😂 So everyone, meet Oregano! 🌿 He’s a little older than Uno, but he seems super laid-back, so I’m hopeful they’ll be a good match. Oregano was also all by himself, so we’re hoping this ends up being a win-win for both of them. He gets a buddy, and he also gets to grow up surrounded by all the everyday sights, sounds, dogs, and hustle and bustle of our house. Now, before anyone worries—we will not be leaving them together unsupervised just yet. They’ll each have their own safe spaces and we’ll be introducing them slowly with supervised playdates over the next few days. We’ll let them set the pace and see how they do. Keep your fingers crossed that these two decide they’re meant to be best friends. We can’t wait to watch their little personalities come out together! ❤️🐾
