The parameters of the proof are the creativity part. The AI did not ask “what if”, a human did that & directed the AI towards it. Creativity requires randomness. AI cannot be random bc there is no formula for complete randomness. It is still just a big calculator.

Understanding is deeper than knowledge. Ppl know the universe but ppl don’t truly understand it. Ppl know physics but ppl don’t understand what is beyond physics.

it's not existential it is was inevitable maths is an abstract representation of the universe humans both leave in the abstract and physical world we get hungry but also fear the law but AI only lives in the abstract representation of the universe they are better equipped for mathematics there are literally mathematics themselves

Mathematics as a creative discipline is new to me. When I think of the creative fields, I imagine non-scientific fields like art, dance, music, fiction, etc. I’d love to hear the arguments for mathematics as a creative discipline.

Semantic search in LLMs works by looking for patterns within the context and generating words statistically, essentially, it’s guessing. It pulls out methods that have already been proven or described and mixes them up, churning one jumble into another. It might guess right, or it might not. Does it speed up the process for a highly intelligent professional? Yes. Does it make new discoveries or prove things? You’ve got to be kidding me. Stop repeating that mindless PR nonsense; I’m not a scientist, yet I actually took the trouble to learn what LLMs are and how they work
