my MOH's speech was 7 pages long (a page for every year we'd known each other) and it was the greatest thing in the world 🥺 And then my speech at her funeral was 9 pages long, a page for every year we'd known each other... The first 7 pages were my viewpoint of everything she wrote in hers and it was weirdly so healing

Here’s how I did mine: just start writing. Dont worry about the length, time, grammar mistakes, etc. just write. Then walk away from it for a day or so. (Longer if you can) Write again, without thinking about the first one. When you’re done, walk away again. When you come back, compare the first two. What made it into both? What are things you can leave out? Remember only that, then write again. Repeat until it feels right. Dont worry, you’ll know when it is 💕
