I personally think he lost because he didnt want to suffer anymore. I dont think sakura won because she was better. And before sakura haters come at me - Sasori had trauma in his life. I believe he just didnt want to go on living with it anymore. He could control more puppets then what was shown in the show, yet didnt bring them all to the fight. Suspicious.
