yall I never believed it either until I saw my now husband just put FILTHY and they would come out clean! then I thought oh maybe MY washer just sucks.. but I think the trick is really dont rinse just scrape bc a short rinse makes the washer think dishes are clean so wont clean them as much

what I dont get is how a dishwasher i bought in 2022 takes 2 hours and 30 mins to run and my dishes are still dirty, but a dishwasher i used as a kid from the 90s, only took 30 mins and never had a dirty dish.

Why does it leave a powdery residue sometimes on the dishes? Is it because of hard water or something else. (I do use rinse aid).

My question is how often should you run the dishwasher? We cannot accumulate enough dishes to wash everyday but storing dirty dishes in dishwasher more than one day is kinda stressful since there could be bugs…

I’ve heard that some vinegar in a lid or cup on the top shelf can help with smell and grime from time to time (not so often to keep the seals in good condition) but have recently heard that vinegar can make the detergent less effective. Would the vinegar be used up in the pre-wash, making any degradation of detergent not an issue? Or is it not true it degrades detergent?

I’m so struggling with this. I know you talked about it before. I’ve been trying not too, but it still seems like pasta sauce and anything like carb heavy like potatoes does not get cleaned. I took the whole thing apart myself and cleaned it all. I still can’t find the issue.
