@dramapotter: 12 Things I Learned in 12 Months of Breastfeeding 1. Your body is capable of incredible things. Even on the days you doubted it. 2. Fed is always best—but however you feed your baby, you’re a good mom. 3. Supply isn’t a reflection of your worth. Some days you’ll make more, some days less. Neither defines you. 4. The hardest days don’t last forever. The latch gets easier. The cluster feeding ends. You find your rhythm. 5. Pumping is breastfeeding too. Every ounce pumped during work breaks, in the car, or late at night counts. 6. Your baby needs you more than they need perfection. They won’t remember the schedule—they’ll remember feeling safe in your arms. 7. Breastfeeding is so much more than milk. It’s comfort, connection, regulation, and love. 8. It’s okay to ask for help. Lactation consultants, friends, your partner-you’re not meant to do it alone. 9. Comparison steals joy. Someone else’s freezer stash has nothing to do with your journey. 10. The days feel long, but the months disappear. One day they’re a newborn, and somehow they’re blowing out their first birthday candle. 11. One day, without realizing it, you’ll nurse them for what ends up being one of the last times. And that thought is both beautiful and heartbreaking. 12. I would do it all over again. The sleepless nights, the sore nipples, the pumping, the tears, the pride—because these 12 months gave me moments I’ll carry forever. No I don’t know when i’ll stop yet! #breastfeedingjourney #pumpandpour #pumpandpour #12months #motherhood
