Dan being Gossip girl would have made sense had they planned for it. there were too many instance where Dan himself was surprised by a post. I was never upset of Dan being Gossip girl, I was upset of the continuity errors of him being Gossip Girl

I 100% believe Dan was the right gossip girl. He wasn’t apart of the elite world giving him a platform to write himself into the gossip girl universe made him visible they started to notice him. Also it would be weird if they didn’t show him reacting to posts it would make it obvious. I have the dvds and they said Dan was the choice in the first season the testing audience guessed it so they had to change the scenes
