I’m about to have my third, I am an RN as well. I am bringing a portable fan, depends, going home outfit, comfy breastfeeding friendly clothes, charger, toiletry bag including nip cream, lotion and chapstick, my boppi, portable sound machine, baby swaddle, going home outfit for baby, car seat (leave in car until you need it).

You also don’t need to buy a brand new bag for this. The way I’m seeing that marketed is insane. Just use whatever over night bag or bags you have 🤷🏼♀️

depending on where you are located, the hospital may not provide much. I'm in Ontario and you'll definitely need diapers and wipes for baby and diapers/pads and postpartum stuff for yourself! all my hospital provides is like 3 diapers for baby, one pad for you and a cheap non angled peri bottle

Considering bringing my pump to ask the lactation consultants on staff if I’m using it properly. I didn’t have a successful nursing/BF experience with my first, so I’d like to get all the info I can to be successful this time. Would you recommend bringing my pump for this purpose?

FTM, induction next week, bag packed just like this. I couldn’t imagine bringing a bunch of crap to the hospital, not going on vacation. The hospital I’m delivering at did suggest a bag of snacks though, so we will have one of those my husband snacks when he’s nervous and we’re not spending $85 at the cafe for a small bag of chips 😂
