Names carry a LOT of weight and I 10000% agree that saying they don’t is harmful to newbies. You can have the best audition but if you’re up against a recognizable name, it’s likely they’re the one that will be chosen. Networking is key! Thank you for saying this 🙏

Just because it might not carry a ton of weight in all circles doesn't mean it doesnt carry weight. my first thought was: be problematic and see how much your name then matters. also my name does carry weight. I have people recommending me in spaces ive never imagined, yet still all indie spaces

I'm an actor, and I've been training my voice so 1, I am eligible for voice acting, 2, it helps with my on screen performance as well. Most actors in my industry ignore their voice as an acting instrument.
