also those "sleepy animals" are drugged. so they dont attack tourists or try to get away because theyre stressed from being held all day by strangers.

also those animal cafes are often genuinely inhumane. the animals are often not properly taken care of and it genuinely isn't worth your money to sit with some mistreated animals. if you want to go to one (including aquariums and zoos, make sure they're actually good and humane and the animals are taken care of.)
