I’ve always thought how much I will love when they are grown and my home can be their landing place where they can come back to or to find ways to make life easier when they have their own families, but with my oldest being 15 that stage feels WAY too close!! 🥹

My 23 yrs old lives out of state. My 20yrs old is still at home, but she’s about to leave for the Navy. Then I’ll officially become a single empty nester. The anticipated grief is already so real… I can’t even begin to describe how my heart feels right now. 😭

It’s a different kind of emotion. It’s hard. I have a 15-year-old and a 21-year-old. My 15-year-old left to chase his dream of becoming a professional soccer player, and my 21-year-old is working hard and finding his own path to be a pro soccer player as well. I’m so proud of both of them, but man… the house feels so quiet now. It’s a big adjustment, and some days it’s really hard I have my husband that I love but dam this was too soon❤️🥺😭😭
