Just don’t fast charge all the time! It’s realllly bad for the battery. Slow charge is best for the battery’s longevity.

To be fair, all EV take ages to charge if you use a trickle charger so it’s good you got a home charger installed

Why are you charging to 97%? 80-90% is already going to be slow, and 90-100% is a trickle. A general rule of thumb is day to day ev use is between 20-80%. I think I’ve charged mine beyond 80% twice, and both were before road trips, at fast chargers bc I knew it’d be slow

I charge overnight. I don't use it then but all good for my next use, so it does not matter how long it takes overnight...

the last 20% of charge always takes longest. Same as your phone. If you dont need to use 100% of the battery everyday you will save yourself a lot of energy by just charging up to 80%… And even more money as you will realise you dont need to install a fast charger. I charge my EV up to 70% because I dont need all the charge for daily use.
