ahhh, mine looked very similar at birth. I had an operation to make the fingers usable as a pincher, using a tendon from my leg.

Genuinely curious; was removal not an option at birth?

Here's a silly one- I feel like being a lefty or righty comes kinda naturally to us; were you born a righty but had to learn to write with your "normal" hand? (or reverse, if the camera is flipped lol)

In terms of the bones, do you know if your “pointer finger” is so long because the phalanges/metacarpals are abnormally long or did your radius and ulna kind of split apart into two separate forearms? This is super cool

I mean this in the most sincere way, while also knowing that you have likely endured a lot of hard things because of this difference- this is amazing. I love how unique humans can be and how we adapt to different bodies and abilities. So distinct and, in a way, marvelous! Again, meant with the truest intentions and not diminishing the challenges that come with it.

is your radius and ulna split, one to each digit or does each digit have it own set?

I’m sorry about all these people with the backhanded shit in the comments omg. Anyways, I’m really curious, what type of limb difference is that exactly? And do you have any X-rays you’re comfortable sharing? Not forcing, I just think it looks really cool, and I love learning about these sorts of things :)

This is so interesting and I love that nail color! If I may ask... are your radius and ulna separated with one bone in each of the two fingers? I bet your xrays look cool af.

If I remember correctly, you said “belbow” for elbow when you were really little and it just stuck ☺️
