A jailer was sent to take an inmate to a hospital in another county. It should have been two detention officers on the transport and hospital visit. Was there a court order to take the inmate to a different county or were there exigent circumstances. I'm guessing it couldn't have been too exigent if the inmate escaped. Whoever authorized it is the one that should be in trouble.
