I nearly drown and had a partial hand amputation in a jetski accident last summer. My MDs diagnosed me with severe CPTSD and in a matter of about 8-10 weeks prescribed me a lot of what Lindsay was taking. I can’t justify anything she did but I too suffered from auditory hallucinations as a result of the stress and lack of sleep along w the mixing of the medications. I did not have babies at home but if I did, I don’t know how that all would lead to what she did to them. It’s an all around horrific tragedy. She should have protected her children instead of becoming their monster. However, who knows her breaking point? One thing I will say is, I don’t believe she did it in a jealous rage after finding out he cheated. It would not make sense. She wouldn’t have killed his kids as a way to ‘make it easier for him to be able to be single and leave’

I see your point, but I disagree. I think things didn’t go according to her plan. In my opinion, she expected a different outcome, and that’s why it seems so chaotic. The fact that she’s now a paraplegic doesn’t convince me she wasn’t responsible! it just tells me her plan failed. I understand there was evidence of mental health issues, but I don’t believe that automatically means she didn’t know what she was doing. That’s why I think the jury has to weigh all of the evidence carefully.

It just breaks my heart. She was struggling so badly. He got takeout w/o taking the kids. Parenting is a 2 way street. He failed his wife and children. She told him about intrusive thoughts. She told him about thoughts of hurting the kids.

I understand that’s what the trial is meant to determine. My opinion is that she intentionally killed her children, and I don’t believe anything justifies or excuses that. Whether the court ultimately decides it was premeditated or caused by postpartum psychosis is for the legal system to determine. I’m simply saying that my sympathy is with the children, not the person who killed them.

I believe she knew exactly what she was doing. In my opinion, she killed her children because she thought that if she later took her own life—or made it look like she was going to—she could avoid the consequences. That’s why I don’t believe she was legally insane. The court will decide based on the evidence, but that’s my opinion.

It seems like this murder was revenge against PC for some reason that is unclear. The lies she told him, the controlling behaviors, the manipulations all point to premeditation. The meticulous planning to send him out and come home to the carnage, the placement of the bodies in his office and in the basement makes it seem like revenge to me.
