the worst part of School Days is that the anime is just the tip of the iceberg. in the School Days universe, its confirmed that Makoto, Sekai, and Setsuna are half siblings with many more characters in the universe being related to each other. plus, the various routes and endings in the other games. truly sickening shit imo

Great topic and great video! She is literally the reason I still see so much potential in yandere stories (sadly, most of them are trash). School Days biggest strength is how it shows that emotional dependency has the potential to help people escape their misery but can also become the very thing that drags them into an even deeper one. As someone that actually played The Visual novel after a losing bet and seeing all of it's different endings, there is even a kinda "Happy end" Where the three of them are in a relationship together but the two heroines only stick with it because they are anxious to be the loser and The MC only want IT because He IS a ...Rex-Maniac.... So even in the Happy ends they kinda showcase that such characters can't get a truly Happy end If they Stick together ( The Name of that ending IS The Two Lovers end).
