I don’t get these criticisms. You try to represent your family’s culture and they respond with “you’re not really Mexican” but if you agree and say okay I’m not Mexican- I’m American, then they get offended talking about “nopal en la frente” like OKAY WHICH ONE IS IT THEN?!?

what's so wrong being Mexican American it's not my fault that English is my first language and Spanish is my second. I try my best to speak it but damn it's hard pronouncing the words so I just say it in English then Spanish
