Also, something that has really helped me personally is remembering its only a medical illness/condition. Its not permanent, its not our features… its just something going on that our bodies are fighting. Thats truly helped me to remember and see my beauty and me for who I am with or without it! It doesn’t change who we ARE but it definitely has changed me mentally i would say now I have more awareness , and just trusting the process. 🫶🏼💗💛💕 Also bc at times its been hard to recognize myself when my face is behind it and taken over by it. But you’re definitely not alone. the scars are reminder of the fight we had but they will soon go away and this will all be a chapter in our story ❤️I feel the same way tho i just don’t really want them to be there lol. like uhhhh can u hurry up now and go away? 🙄😂

Acne IS so confusing. Like why does it seem isolated to the face.? And even more specifically, why mainly the cheeks? I feel like that needs to be studied. Your skin is looking GREAT and you can tell you feel lighter emotionally. 😊

Ya my spirnolactone is finally working- cysts & nodules gone, inflammation gone but I’m left with a HEAVY amount of PIH. I was so lucky not to scar but I NEVER picked or popped during this last weird 6 months of cystic hormonal breakouts. Giving it a bit more time to settle and then going to tackle it with ingredients to help with the hyperpigmentation. Totally get this! Just because the acne is gone doesn’t mean you’re left with the greatest skin ever. It’s a long journey. There’s still a ton of healing that needs to happen. But girl- YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL and please remember how far you’ve come as a fellow acne girly on her healing journey. 🩷
