Joe was a very strict father, and could have shown kids more affection. However, none of those kids ended up on the streets and on drugs. All of the Jackson kids were polite and compassionate. Good job Joe.

Not only did he care about his father later in life empathize with his father greatly, understood his father and forgave him and encouraged us all to do the same with our parents at an Oxford speech in the early 2000s.
