Experts have repeatedly warned that increasing greenhouse gas emissions and weakening conservation efforts make it harder to address a climate crisis that is already costing lives, ecosystems, and billions of dollars in damage every year. This is about the long-term consequences of the choices being made today. It’s about whether we leave behind clean air, clean water, thriving wildlife, and protected public lands.
