day by days when the pain feels impossible to put into words,I oso hve retinitis pigmentosa, rare genetic (dad side) eye disease that has no cure.When my doct told me there was nothing that could stop it....tbh felt as though a part of my future had been taken away sadly🥺every birthday no longer feels like just another year of growing older n be happier thn last year,it feels like another year of watching my vision slowly slip away tbh the thought that one day I may no longer see the faces of the people I love n a little moments I nver thought twice about breaks my heart deeply,I never asked for this yet I have to live with the fear of a world that grows blurrier with time as I grow older...in the middle of night I termenung wondering what my future will look like?how can org macam sya smbung belajar?knowing that I need my mother by my side to take care myself when I was in icu back then,no matter how much I wish things were different, I cannot change what is happening to my eyes and maybe perhaps that is the hardest part of all,not the darkness itself but knowing it is slowly finding its way toward me while all I can do is watch

my older sister was first told by a doctor that her symptoms were just “lazy eyes.” my family even scolded her because they thought she was overreacting and paying too much attention to her eyes. but when she went for an eye exam to get glasses, the optician said it wasn’t just bad eyesight. of course, my parents were furious with the hospital. later, they found out she was going to lose her vision completely by the time she turned 18, but it happened much earlier. when she was 15, she woke up one morning and everything was completely black. she was staying at her boarding school at the time, and she didn’t tell my parents for a whole week because she was so scared and heartbroken. but that wasn’t the end of her story. she’s 37 now, graduated with a first-class master’s degree in islamic economics from ukm, and now she teaches braille to other oku. she’s one of the strongest people i know. if you ever need someone who truly understands what you’re going through, i can ask my sister if she’s okay with me sharing her contact with you 🤍

okay, why dah redha tapi still sedih? actually it is war of ur heart n brain. our heart mmg redha tapi our brain cannot process it coz brain has expectation. its will take time for our brain to process being rejected, being failed.. n so do u, its take time for ur brain to slowly accept the reality. buttttt, i pray for ur health my girlie. may Allah heals u n give u peace in heart n mind aminnn..

adik saya juga retinitis pigmentosa 🥺 sekarang 80% x boleh melihat..kami dh cari rawatan dekat pakar mata hampir seluruh malaysia.. semua kata mmg xdk rawatan.. 🥺 Allahu , tak terbayang beratnya ujian awak sayang.. setiap kali saya doakan adik saya..saya selitkan sekali untk awak dan mereka2 yg diuji dgn sakit yg sama.. stay strong pretty

RP nie dlm bahsa mudah , penyakit yg mana saraf utk melihat, mati one by one smpi la buta. punca selalu sbb genetic and akan kena dua2 mata sekali gus. waktu kecik2 start dgn rabun malam. early 20, main sensor akan affect . waktu nie vision slowly tinggal tengah je, tepi dah x nmpk. akhir 30an selalu jadi buta. selalunya kalau jumpa pt rp nie, kita bagi moral support, wht to expect dgn vision, and jugak bagi visual aid, yg mcm kanta pembesar utk tolong buat kerja harian. Latest treatment gene therapy guna ccrispr. cost dalm 5millions++. company luxturna novartis stkt nie yg ada fda approve

Haii pretty, y'know.. dulu i pernah hampir buta, I rasa dunia i takde makna. i give up.. but one day i rehda dengan ujian I.. I solat Arafah.. besoknya mata I sembuh total tanpa ubat atau trement apa ii. dekt sni i nk bgithu yg.. trust Allah, rehda dgn semua ujian menimpa kita. i tak bermaksud nk kecilkn hti u tau. i doakan semoga ada keajaiban for you❤️

Jadi teringat masa bekerja di premis optometrist dulu. Ada girl umur 20 thn dtg cek mata sbb mata makin tak nampak dari hari ke hari. Dia ingat power naik sbb dh lama tak pakai spek mata, bergantung dgn pakai contact lens lebih 1 tahun. Dia dtg nk buat spek mata tapi end up kena jumpa pakar. Rupanya2 optometrist cakap dia akan hilang penglihatan kekal. Dan pakar pun cakap benda sama after 3 bulan dia jumpa pakar. Masa tu sedih tengok reaksi dia macam redha. Sampai kawan sy yg optometrist masuk bilik rehat menangis. Sedih sbb dia muda lagi tapi dh diuji macam tu🥺
