Rogue Spider :
I have Schizoaffective Bipolar Depressive Type. I really honestly had never heard of it. First I had depression, then it was Major Depressive, then it was with PTSD, and then BiPolar 2. That stayed that way for like 6 years, I had just maybe a week or two of hypomania, where I definitely talked faster, was all over the place, had occasional thoughts of I think I might be special/rarely. Then out of nowhere, in my late 20's I started hearing an old alarm I had for two days, I wasn't really worried, then heard my niece and nephew's voices. But it was stuff they would say after I hit snooze 5+times, so it still wasn't worrying. Then a day later it was multiple voices unrecognizable, men women and demonic. I heard them like you would if several people were just surrounding you. And then I could feel breath on my face when one would scream in my ear. And it just became every hallucination there is. I went and got a crisis appointment, and I was just prescribed an antipsychotic, no answer as to why I just very quickly randomly started having all this. But at least the med did slightly make voices quieter and sometimes actually not even be heard. But, yeah just kept getting worse and so did my severely debilitating depression. 7ish years, and changing where I was getting care. Then it became Schizoaffective Bipolar.. So I really am so sorry I personally can't really function very well anymore. I've tried so many meds and I'm just yeah, nobody should have to go through anything like what you're going through. For me the worst is somatic delusions, because I actually feel excruciating pain, I feel a huge snake just wrapped around my body squeezing me, and every where it's squeezing it's like my skin is burning. I just have to basically, be in a ball of pain and tears for however long for meds to work. When I get them I have to take more than my regular dose, but it doesn't kick in quickly. I truly feel sorry, because I know I can't really function. I hope, maybe you can find a med that works better. I appreciate you sharing, I'm too scared too. Everyone has this already automatic reaction, the few times I tried to actually talk even in my family. Thank you honestly.
