He's carrying a pole that's about 12 metres long, and it isn't light. He's walking out there in the wind. And he's not 15 years old—he's an experienced worker. I've always said this is a job for strong people. Not everyone can do it. Only the toughest can. And honestly... This is hilarious. Up here in Tacoma local 23 only the A men get these jobs we call them drop lash's. Work for 2 hours tops and get paid for the whole day 😂gravy

we have full automatic twistlocks on most of the ships, and have a gondola for containers that high. you dont ruin your body. you need to reach 80 years old.

we call it harness man/or harness woman its definitely a interesting job you got to make sure you have good straight poles and good heads with good hooks......its a whole lot easier on ships with automatic choks
