I can so relate to you in this moment, Meredith, and I appreciate you sharing. I, too, had SO MUCH medical trauma last year. Without going right into it, I had a fairly routine surgery that should have had me home in two weeks, tops. I ended up with a rare infection (which will affect any and every infection I may have, for the rest of my life), which took what amounts to basically poison to get rid of, and kept me in hospital for literally 91 days. There was more than one occasion I thought I was going to die in there. The experience definitely still lingers and unfortunately colours my life on a daily basis. So I definitely empathise with you and understand the medical trauma side of it all. You're very brave to do this, and I hope someday I can have this done as well! Thanks for sharing your experiences ❤️
