It's funny how everyone tells the Kibaki story and legacy and forgets that these kinds of decisive politics are what got us to 2007/08 chaos. Not development and announcement or lack there of, but the idea that the current regime is the devil and the people on the outside are the saviour. On whether the government of the day is good or not, should be scaled on what we get vs what we need and was it done in the most efficient way? Not the emotive nonsense of who announced what and who did not, the question is, was the project done or not? and did we get value for money or not, period.
