@fkstudio98: This is Persepolis, the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Persian Empire, founded by King Darius I around 518 BC. • Today, Persepolis is located near the city of Marvdasht in Fars Province, southwestern Iran. Its ancient ruins are preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and remain one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. At its height, Persepolis welcomed kings, nobles, and ambassadors from across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Its magnificent palaces, towering columns, painted walls, and royal gardens symbolized the wealth and power of the Persian Empire. In 330 BC, Alexander the Great conquered Persepolis after defeating the Achaemenid Empire. Soon afterward, much of the palace complex was destroyed by a great fire, leaving behind the ruins that still stand today. This video is a historically informed reconstruction, showing how Persepolis may have looked during its golden age over 2,500 years ago. #Persepolis #Iran #AncientPersia #History #TimeTravel
