@auraincyber: The biggest risk isn’t in the small things we do every day. To be clear, none of these is automatically unsafe on its own. Bluetooth can be useful, cookies are required for many websites to function and voice verification is still used by legitimate services. The point is reducing unnecessary exposure, not just trying to become invisible online. The concerns are different for each one: Bluetooth can leave your device discoverable when you don’t need it to be. Using the same real identity everywhere makes accounts easier to link together. “Accept all cookies” can enable cross-site tracking and broader data collection. Voice verification uses a biometric factor, which is much harder to replace than a password if it is ever compromised. App permissions are often granted by default even when the app doesn’t genuinely need that level of access. And yes, some of this is basic cyber hygiene. That’s exactly why it matters. Most people don’t get compromised by movie-style hacking (looking at you Mr Robot); they get exposed through convenience, oversharing, excessive permissions and data that accumulates over time.
