Love this! Do you have any specific pacifier you recommend for breastfed babies?

My daughter breastfed her first son 2 1/2 years, he never took a pacifier. Her second son is 8 months, exclusively breastfed, but loves his passy. Since starting solids, he loves to eat and is doing so good. But he is nursing way less. She said she doesn’t see him nursing as long as big brother. Kinda sad but he’s doing great

How about my exclusively breastfed baby who WON’T take a paci and uses my nipples as one 🥴 and I know she’s not hungry because she is suckling to soothe herself then spitting out the milk 🤣 Any tips?

Can you over feed an exclusively breast fed baby? My baby will beg to be fed more right after nursing and often throws up excess milk

Hey, Sometimes my baby will start kicking and crying while I’m trying to breastfeed and she keeps latching and unlatching seeming like she’s trying to gulp it really fast and getting frustrated do you know what it could mean?

Does using a pacifier cause cracked nipples? My baby is six weeks old and I have a deep crack. What should I do?

I’m not interested in using a pacifier at all. Is it needed?

My son finally started to take the pacifier your holding after rejecting all others and it’s been a game changer in the car when he’s over tired and trying to fall asleep. I don’t need it much but sometimes a pacifier comes in clutch with a breastfed baby.

Hi do you have videos about latch pain during first weeks of postpartum? I’m 2w pp and it hurts everytime I keep wondering if it’s normal pain or not. Baby is showing great signs though !

My daughter uses my boob as her pacifier. She’s 9 weeks now and spits out any pacifier I put in her mouth.

What are your thoughts on latch pain and baby needing body work to help relieve latching issues?

I gave my baby his dummy at like 4 days old 😬 but it was only at sleep time to transfer him from boob to bed and to this day he only gets his dummy at bedtime after a good feed

I’m really against using one for this exact reason but I’m struggling to understand when baby is sucking sucking to sooth or if he is staying on me for so long but maybe not getting milk through 😩

Hey Nurse Nicki, I’m asking for a friend who just had a baby last week. Her baby is struggling with spitting up and she went to the dr 2x this week and baby hasn’t gained weight but she also hasn’t lost weight. She was mostly breastfeeding and now she’s supplementing with formula. She mentioned noticing the spitting up more with BM. I’m not sure if you have any advice for me to give her to try but i just want to encourage my friend in this moment so she knows she’s more than enough

is it ok/recommended to give baby a dummy at 3 weeks to soothe until feeding can happen. eg I feed on demand but sometimes when in the car etc and baby is really upset and hungry I give a dummy to soothe until I can get to a safe place to stop and feed.
